S1E3: The Man with the Umbrella

In "Squid Game" Episode 3, the contestants face the third game: a deadly version of tug-of-war. Teams are formed, with Gi-hun's team notably including some elderly and weaker players, which doesn't exactly scream "odds-on favorite." Despite their apparent disadvantage, Gi-hun's team uses a clever strategy suggested by Oh Il-nam, the old man. They manage to hold their ground and pull off a surprising victory, sending the opposing team to their doom. Meanwhile, Jun-ho, the undercover cop sneaking around the facility, continues his investigation. He manages to swipe a guard's uniform and mask, further blending in to gather intel on the sinister operation. The episode ends with tension building as alliances form and fractures widen among players who realize that every game brings them closer to life or death.
