S1E3: Lamentis

So, in Episode 3 of "Loki," we pick up with Loki and Sylvie stuck on Lamentis-1, a moon that's about to be obliterated. They need to recharge the TemPad to escape, but naturally, things go sideways. They attempt to power it up with a train ride to the Ark, a spaceship meant to evacuate the moon. While on the train, Loki gets tipsy and sings Asgardian songs, which is delightful but also kind of reckless. His antics get them kicked off the train, and the TemPad gets smashed in the process. Classic Loki. With no other options, they decide their best shot is to hijack the Ark itself. They make a mad dash towards it through a crumbling cityscape as meteors rain down from above. Unfortunately, just as they reach it, the Ark is destroyed by falling debris. The episode ends with them stranded and doomed — or at least that’s what it looks like for now.
