Episode Ending
In the final episode of "Loki" Season 1, Loki and Sylvie finally confront He Who Remains at the Citadel at the End of Time. He explains that he created the TVA to prevent a multiversal war and offers them a choice: kill him and unleash chaos, or take over his role to maintain order. Loki, ever the skeptic, is intrigued by the possibility of ruling. Sylvie, on the other hand, is driven by her quest for vengeance and doesn't trust a word of it. The tension escalates as they clash over what to do, culminating in Sylvie pushing Loki through a portal back to the TVA. Left alone with He Who Remains, Sylvie delivers the fatal blow, killing him and unleashing a timeline fracture. Back at the TVA, Loki discovers that everything has changed. Mobius and Hunter B-15 don't recognize him, and a statue of Kang, not the Time Keepers, now dominates the TVA landscape. The multiverse is officially in chaos.
