S1E3: Homer's Odyssey

In "Simpsonlar - S1E3: Episode 3," the family heads to a company picnic at Mr. Burns' estate, where Homer is determined to win the coveted award for having the best-behaved family. Naturally, chaos ensues as Bart and Lisa's antics threaten to ruin everything. Homer's attempt at presenting a perfect family image falls apart when Bart goes wild and Lisa releases all the animals from the petting zoo. Meanwhile, Marge tries to hold things together but ends up embarrassed by the kids' behavior. Despite the fiasco, Mr. Burns surprisingly gives Homer a plaque for trying his best, which isn't quite the victory Homer hoped for but is a nice consolation prize. They head home with Homer learning that his family is imperfectly perfect in their own way, and that's just fine.
