Bart catches a three-eyed fish in a river downstream of the Nuclear Power Plant. This causes the plant to become inspected, and in order to prevent it from being shut down, Mr. Burns decides to run for governor. After a hard campaign which sees Burns rise from being universally despised to running neck and neck with popular incumbent Mary Bailey, it is decided that Burns will have dinner with a random employee the night before the election. Homer is chosen, much to Marge's chagrin.

Episode Ending

In "Simpsonlar - S2E4: Episode 4," Bart, in his typical fashion, stirs up trouble at school by pulling a prank involving cherry bombs in the toilets. This, of course, doesn't go unnoticed, and Principal Skinner invites Homer and Marge to the school to discuss Bart's behavior. The meeting doesn’t go well, and Skinner suggests that Bart might benefit from a more disciplined environment. As a result, Bart gets shipped off to France as part of a student exchange program, which sounds great until he arrives at a run-down vineyard run by two unscrupulous men. They treat Bart like a slave, making him do all the hard labor while they live it up. Meanwhile, the Simpson family hosts an Albanian boy named Adil Hoxha, who seems polite and helpful but has an ulterior motive: he's actually a spy trying to steal nuclear secrets from the Springfield Nuclear Power Plant. Bart's situation seems bleak until he accidentally discovers his captors' plan to adulterate their wine. Using his limited French, he reports them to the authorities. The gendarmes swoop in, arrest the villains, and Bart returns home a hero. Back in Springfield, Adil is caught and sent back to Albania in exchange for an American spy. So it all wraps up nicely with Bart back to his old antics at home and everything seemingly back to normal.
