S2E14: Principal Charming

In "Simpsonlar - S2E14: Episode 14," we find Marge feeling unappreciated, which is pretty much par for the course with the Simpson family dynamics. She decides to audition for a role in the local musical production of "Oh, Streetcar!" and, surprise, surprise, lands the lead role of Blanche DuBois. Homer, unsurprisingly, is less than supportive and more interested in his TV dinners. As rehearsals go on, Marge struggles with her lines and feels overwhelmed by the responsibility of balancing her home life with her newfound passion. Meanwhile, Homer’s lack of interest in Marge’s acting endeavors reaches its peak when he forgets to pick her up after rehearsal, leaving her stranded. Come opening night, Marge performs admirably on stage, channeling all her frustrations into Blanche's character. The audience is impressed, and even Homer is moved by her performance, realizing he has been a bit of a jerk. After the show, Homer apologizes to Marge for his neglect and promises to be more supportive in the future. The episode wraps up with the family returning home together, with Homer attempting to make it up to Marge by making breakfast the next morning. Of course, this goes as well as you’d expect from Homer Simpson.
