S3E2: Mr. Lisa Goes to Washington

In "Simpsonlar - S3E2: Episode 2," or as it's known in English, "Mr. Lisa Goes to Washington," Lisa's patriotic essay wins her a trip to Washington, D.C., for a national contest. Once there, she witnesses a congressman accepting a bribe and becomes disillusioned with the government. Lisa rewrites her essay to expose the corruption, which leads to the congressman's arrest. This restores her faith in the democratic system, as she sees that change is possible. The episode wraps up with the Simpsons returning home, having had quite the educational adventure, and Lisa feeling hopeful about the power of speaking out for justice.
