Episode Ending
In "Simpsonlar - S3E11: Episode 11," also known as "Burns Verkaufen der Kraftwerk," Mr. Burns decides to sell the Springfield Nuclear Power Plant to a group of German investors. Naturally, this throws Homer into a panic because he fears losing his job. True to form, the Germans aren't impressed with Homer's lackluster work performance and promptly fire him. Meanwhile, Mr. Burns finds himself at loose ends after the sale. Despite the hefty payout, he's bored and missing the thrill of running the plant. He ends up buying back the power plant from the Germans at a significantly reduced price after learning they aren't quite cut out for handling its unique challenges. With Burns back in charge, Homer is reinstated at his job, though he remains blissfully unaware of how precarious his employment situation really was. The episode wraps up with everything back to its dysfunctional normal in Springfield, proving once again that change is but a temporary visitor in the world of the Simpsons.
