S3E16: Bart the Lover
Bart's answer to detention from Mrs. Krabappel is to answer her personal ad with letters from a Mr. Wonderful, but his last laugh is more of a guilty whimper.
Episode Ending
In "Simpsonlar - S3E16," Homer discovers a new obsession with owning a gun, which naturally spirals into a series of unfortunate events. Marge, not too thrilled about Homer’s new toy, insists that he get rid of it. Homer, being Homer, doesn’t exactly follow through with that plan. As the episode unfolds, Homer tries to impress his friends with his gun skills but inevitably screws up. This leads to Marge taking the kids and leaving Homer until he can prove he’s responsible enough to handle the firearm. Homer finally sees the light and decides to get rid of the gun to win back his family. In a somewhat predictable twist, just as Homer is about to dispose of the gun, an unlikely scenario plays out where it actually comes in handy. However, Marge remains firm on her stance, and Homer ultimately chooses his family over the weapon. They reconcile, and peace is temporarily restored in the Simpson household, until the next inevitable chaos ensues.
