Marge fears a cheatin' heart when a waitress-country singer asks Homer to be her manager.

Episode Ending

In "The Simpsons" Season 3, Episode 20, titled "Colonel Homer," we see Homer stumble into a new career path as a music manager. It all starts when he discovers a waitress named Lurleen Lumpkin singing at a bar. Her country music talents impress him so much that he decides to manage her career, much to Marge's dismay. As Lurleen's career takes off, Homer becomes more engrossed in his role, spending more and more time with her. This naturally leads to tension at home, with Marge growing increasingly suspicious and frustrated with the amount of time her husband is devoting to his new client. Despite Lurleen's clear interest in Homer, he remains oblivious to the romantic undercurrent. The climax arrives when Lurleen finally makes a move on Homer, but instead of succumbing to temptation, Homer chooses fidelity. He decides to sell Lurleen's contract to another manager and returns home to Marge, reaffirming his commitment to his family. In the end, the status quo is restored in typical Simpson fashion: Homer is back on the couch with Marge, and all is right in Springfield again.
