S4E5: Treehouse of Horror III
A Halloween trilogy includes a murderous Krusty doll; a "King Kong" parody; an invasion of zombies unleashed by Bart's incantation.
Episode Ending
In the "Simpsons" episode titled "Treehouse of Horror III," the ending wraps up its third spooky tale. After a series of supernatural misadventures, Homer and the family find themselves in a classic monster movie scenario. First, Homer has to deal with a killer Krusty doll that tries to murder him, but eventually, it's revealed that the doll was set to "evil" mode. A quick switch to "good" mode solves that problem, and Homer gets a tiny servant for life. Next, we see Bart raising the dead by accident after reading an incantation from a book of black magic. The town is overrun by zombies, but Lisa saves the day by reading a reverse spell that sends the undead back to their graves. Finally, in the King Kong parody segment, Marge ends up being taken by giant ape Homer to the top of the Empire State Building. The episode concludes with the townspeople capturing Homer but deciding not to harm him because Marge loves him. Instead, they put him on display back home in Springfield. Classic "Simpsons" chaos with a side of Halloween horror wrapped up tidily.
