S4E8: New Kid on the Block

In "Simpsonlar - S4E8," also known as "New Kid on the Block," Bart develops a crush on the new neighbor, Laura Powers, who babysits him and his sister Lisa. Unfortunately for Bart, Laura only sees him as a friend and is actually interested in Jimbo Jones, one of Bart's school bullies. Bart's world comes crashing down when he discovers Laura kissing Jimbo in his treehouse. Heartbroken, Bart seeks revenge by calling Moe's Tavern and pranking Moe into believing that Jimbo is threatening him. Moe shows up at the Simpsons' house with a knife, ready to confront Jimbo. Jimbo breaks down crying in front of Moe, which embarrasses Laura and causes her to break up with him. Bart's plan backfires into an unexpected victory; Laura is impressed by his boldness but still only sees him as a friend. The episode ends with Bart accepting this reality while watching TV with Homer, realizing that sometimes you can't win them all.
