Season 5

The season finale of "The Simpsons" Season 5 is titled "Secrets of a Successful Marriage." In this episode, Homer decides he wants to teach an adult education class. Naturally, he picks a subject he's never excelled at: having a successful marriage. As expected, things go off the rails when Homer runs out of material to teach and starts sharing personal stories about Marge to keep his class entertained. This doesn't sit well with Marge when she finds out, leading to tensions at home. Eventually, Marge kicks Homer out of the house for violating her trust. Homer, realizing he's in the doghouse, tries to win her back with a heartfelt speech about how much she means to him. In the end, Marge takes him back, and all is well again in the Simpson household — at least until next week.
