S5E5: Treehouse of Horror IV

In "Simpsonlar - S5E5," also known as "Treehouse of Horror IV," the episode wraps up its third segment, "Bart Simpson's Dracula." After Bart becomes a vampire, the family plans to kill Mr. Burns, who they believe is the head vampire. They stake him in his coffin, but Lisa soon realizes that Marge is actually the head vampire. In a classic twist of cartoon logic, Marge reveals her fangs and confirms Lisa's suspicion. The entire family, except Lisa, turns into vampires and prepares to pounce on her. But just before they do, the scene shifts abruptly to a cheerful Christmas carol sing-along by the Simpsons, parodying the Peanuts holiday specials. So instead of an intense vampire showdown, we get a cozy holiday scene with all the characters singing "Hark! The Herald Angels Sing," which is as unexpected as it is charmingly absurd. This pretty much sums up how things roll in Springfield: chaotic but somehow always back to a strange version of normal.
