S5E7: Bart's Inner Child
Springfield emulates Bart after he's praised by a self-help guru.
Episode Ending
In "Simpsonlar - S5E7: Episode 7," better known as "Bart's Inner Child," things wrap up with a fair amount of Springfield chaos. After Brad Goodman, a self-help guru, encourages everyone to embrace their inner child, the whole town starts behaving like Bart. Naturally, this leads to pandemonium, culminating in a festival called "Do What You Feel" day. As you'd expect, not everything goes smoothly. The lack of planning and responsibility results in a disaster when the Ferris wheel breaks free and rolls through the town. The townspeople quickly realize that complete freedom isn't all it's cracked up to be. In the end, the town returns to normalcy, more or less, and Bart, while initially feeling proud of being a trendsetter, learns that perhaps being himself is best left to him alone. The Simpson family goes back to their usual dynamic, with Bart no longer the accidental role model for Springfield's misguided experiment in self-help.
