S5E12: Bart Gets Famous
When an on-air remark catapults Bart to instant stardom, he finds that fame isn't all it's cracked up to be.
Episode Ending
In "Simpsonlar - S5E12," also known as "Bart Gets an Elephant," the episode wraps up with a rather practical twist. After Bart wins a radio contest and receives Stampy the elephant as his prize, things get predictably out of hand. Maintaining an elephant turns out to be more demanding than expected—who would've guessed? Homer, always the financial guru, decides to sell Stampy to an ivory dealer to cover the costs, but Bart and Lisa intervene. They attempt to hide Stampy in the local wildlife reserve, but Homer catches them. In the end, Bart’s insistence and Stampy’s apparent affection for Homer (after saving him from poachers) convince the family to donate Stampy to the wildlife reserve instead. The episode closes with Stampy fitting right in at the reserve, albeit by bullying the other elephants, as Homer bemoans the lost chance at profit. The Simpson family returns to their usual shenanigans with one less elephant-sized problem.
