Episode Ending
Sure, here's how "The Simpsons" Season 5, Episode 20, wraps up: In this episode, Bart gets caught shoplifting a video game, and Marge is deeply disappointed in him. To make amends, Bart takes Marge to the Try-N-Save to prove he's learned his lesson and won't steal again. However, when they're there, the security guard who caught Bart earlier makes a sarcastic remark about him being a potential thief. Marge is still trying to reconcile her feelings about Bart's actions when they come across a family photo display at the store. Marge decides it's time for their annual Christmas card photo. The family gathers for the photo, but Bart is feeling guilty and out of place. Ultimately, the episode ends with the family taking the photo without Bart. He's outside, looking in through the window. It's a bittersweet moment where Bart realizes the consequence of his actions as he stands alone while his family shares a moment inside.
