Episode Ending
In "Simpsonlar - S5E21," also known as "Lady Bouvier's Lover," the episode wraps up with a classic Springfield twist. Abe Simpson and Mr. Burns find themselves in a romantic rivalry over Marge's mother, Jacqueline Bouvier. After a series of comedic missteps, Burns manages to woo her, and they plan to marry. The wedding day arrives, and Abe makes a last-ditch effort to win Jacqueline back. In a move straight out of a romantic film, he disrupts the ceremony, declaring his love for her. Jacqueline, faced with a choice between the wealthy but ancient Burns and the less wealthy but slightly less ancient Abe, decides to leave both of them at the altar. The episode concludes with Abe and Jacqueline dancing together at Maggie's birthday party. Mr. Burns is left without his bride, and Abe is left without a definitive answer about his future with Jacqueline, but at least he's not alone for the moment. And so life goes on in Springfield, with love triangles unresolved and humor intact.
