S6E2: Lisa's Rival

In "Simpsonlar - S6E2: Episode 2," also known as "Lisa's Rival," things get competitive when a new student, Allison Taylor, arrives at Springfield Elementary and quickly outshines Lisa in academics and music. Lisa feels threatened by Allison's talents and decides to sabotage her in the school's diorama competition. Meanwhile, Homer stumbles upon a truck full of sugar and decides to hoard it in the backyard, dreaming of striking it rich. As the diorama competition approaches, Lisa and Bart plot to switch Allison's perfect diorama with a less impressive one. The plan goes off without a hitch, but Lisa's conscience gets the better of her. At the last moment, she confesses to the switch during the competition. Fortunately for both girls, Ralph Wiggum wins with his bizarre Star Wars-themed diorama, rendering their rivalry moot. On the sugar front, Homer's grand scheme literally dissolves when rain causes his sugar pile to melt away. Marge isn't thrilled with the sticky mess left behind, but Homer remains unfazed by his latest get-rich-quick scheme going awry. The episode wraps up with Lisa and Allison making amends and realizing that they can be friends despite their rivalry.
