Episode Ending

In "Simpsons - S6E12," titled "Homer the Great," things get delightfully weird when Homer stumbles into the secretive world of the Stonecutters, a society that seems to have its hands in every pie in Springfield. After accidentally discovering their lair, Homer is initially rejected but later accepted when they realize he bears the birthmark of the "Chosen One." As the Chosen One, Homer enjoys all sorts of perks, including getting out of traffic tickets and being celebrated by the members. However, his new power quickly goes to his head, and the other Stonecutters tire of his antics. In an effort to regain control, they establish a new society without him called the No Homers. By the end of the episode, Homer is left outside while everyone else enjoys their new club. Feeling dejected but ultimately accepting his fate, he returns to his family life, perhaps missing his moment of glory but finding solace in the mundane chaos that only Springfield can offer.
