S6E16: Bart vs. Australia
After tricking an Australian boy into accepting a collect call, Bart flies Down Under to apologize.
Episode Ending
In "Simpsonlar - S6E16," also known as "Bart vs. Australia," Bart's little prank call to Australia about the Coriolis effect spirals way out of control, leading to an international incident. Naturally, the U.S. government steps in and ships the whole Simpson family down under so Bart can apologize to the Australian government. When they arrive, Bart delivers his apology, but it turns out the Australians have a condition: they want to kick Bart in the bum with a giant boot as punishment. The Simpsons aren't having it, and they make a break for the American embassy, with an angry mob in tow. In a classic diplomatic scramble, the embassy staff agrees to let the Australians give Bart a symbolic kick using an inflatable boot. But Bart can't resist one last act of defiance — he moons the crowd during the ceremony. The Simpsons manage to escape Australia on a helicopter, leaving behind a furious mob and one very large international misunderstanding.
