S6E20: Two Dozen and One Greyhounds

In "Simpsonlar - S6E20," titled "Two Dozen and One Greyhounds," the episode wraps up with Mr. Burns attempting to turn Santa's Little Helper and his 25 puppies into a greyhound fur tuxedo. Because, you know, nothing screams fashion like a coat made from puppies. Bart and Lisa catch on to his plan, and they infiltrate Burns' mansion to save the dogs. The climax hits when Bart and Lisa perform a song and dance number to distract Mr. Burns, cleverly parodying "See My Vest," which is all about his desire for animal-based fashion. As expected, Mr. Burns is charmed by their performance, or at least distracted enough to let his guard down. Meanwhile, Smithers, perhaps not as enthusiastic about the whole puppy-coat idea as Burns, helps the kids out. In a rare moment of reasonability, Mr. Burns decides not to go through with making a tuxedo out of the dogs after Santa's Little Helper shows some affection towards him. Apparently, even Burns has a soft spot—who knew? The puppies are saved and given away for adoption, except for one that stays with the Simpsons, because obviously they needed another mouth to feed.
