Bart winds up in the hospital as a result of eating Krusty cereal, and when Lisa comes to visit him, she is reunited with her sax idol.
Episode Ending
In "The Simpsons" Season 6, Episode 22, also known as "Round Springfield," the episode wraps up with Lisa dealing with the loss of her mentor and friend, jazz musician Bleeding Gums Murphy. After his unexpected passing, Lisa is determined to honor him by getting his record played on the radio. She eventually convinces a local DJ to play Bleeding Gums' album on the radio. As his music fills the airwaves, Lisa feels a sense of closure and connection to her late friend. The episode concludes with her looking up at the sky, seeing Bleeding Gums' spirit in the clouds, playing his saxophone one last time alongside other celestial musicians, including Mufasa and Darth Vader.
