Episode Ending

In the episode "Bart Sells His Soul," Bart, ever the budding entrepreneur, decides to sell his soul to Milhouse for five bucks. Seems like a great deal until Bart starts noticing odd changes: automatic doors don't open for him, and he can't fog up glass with his breath. Clearly, a missing soul has practical inconveniences. Meanwhile, Moe tries to revamp his bar into a family-friendly restaurant called Uncle Moe's Family Feedbag, complete with ridiculous hats and a menu that would make any cardiologist wince. Unsurprisingly, Moe's short temper doesn't mesh well with the demands of customer service, leading to an inevitable meltdown in front of his patrons. Desperate to retrieve his soul after a series of existential crises, Bart tries to buy it back from Milhouse. Alas, Milhouse has traded it away. The episode concludes with Lisa revealing she bought Bart's soul back for him because she's just that kind of sister. Bart feels whole again, Moe abandons his restaurant dreams, and everything returns to its usual Springfield chaos.
