Episode Ending
In "The Simpsons" Season 7, Episode 14, titled "Scenes from the Class Struggle in Springfield," Marge finds a discounted Chanel suit at a thrift store and gets invited to the prestigious Springfield Country Club by an old classmate, Evelyn. She's thrilled but soon realizes she doesn't quite fit in with the wealthy crowd. Determined to impress them, Marge alters her suit multiple times to attend various events at the club, but it eventually falls apart. Faced with the pressure to keep up appearances, Marge contemplates buying a new expensive dress but decides against it at the last minute, choosing instead to wear her own repaired suit to the club's dinner. At the dinner, Marge feels out of place and realizes that she's been neglecting her family in her quest for acceptance. In a moment of clarity, she decides her family is more important than fitting in with the elite. The episode ends with the Simpsons leaving the club together, happily embracing their regular lives.
