S7E20: Bart on the Road

In "Simpsonlar - S7E20," also known as "Bart on the Road," Bart creates a fake driver's license during a "Take Your Child to Work Day" and decides to go on a road trip with Milhouse, Nelson, and Martin. They rent a car and head to Knoxville, Tennessee, intending to see the World's Fair, only to find out it ended years ago. The fairgrounds are deserted, and their car gets destroyed by the Sunsphere, which is now a storage warehouse for wigs. Stranded and out of money, Bart calls Lisa for help. Lisa, in turn, asks their dad, Homer, for assistance without revealing Bart's predicament. Homer, who had been enjoying some newfound leisure time at work due to Bart’s fake driver's license scam, sends his nuclear plant ID badge to Bart via overnight mail. This allows the boys to fly home using airline employee discounts. The episode wraps up with the boys returning home safely. Homer receives his badge back and is none the wiser about Bart's adventure. Lisa enjoys her brief stint as the responsible sibling who saved the day, while Bart learns nothing and remains as mischievous as ever. The status quo in Springfield is restored, with no one the wiser about the boys' little escapade except for Lisa.
