Season 8

Season 8 of "The Simpsons" wraps up with the episode titled "The Secret War of Lisa Simpson." In this finale, Bart is sent to military school after one too many pranks push Principal Skinner over the edge. Not to be left out, Lisa decides she wants to enroll as well, believing the discipline might do her good. Once at the military academy, Lisa finds herself isolated as the only girl and struggles to keep up with the rigorous physical demands. Meanwhile, Bart surprisingly thrives in the structured environment, much to everyone’s shock. The siblings' roles are amusingly reversed, with Bart finally becoming the star student while Lisa grapples with her challenges. The climax hits when Lisa must complete a grueling final obstacle course called "The Eliminator" to prove herself. Bart, in an uncharacteristic move of sibling solidarity, encourages her and helps motivate her to finish. By the end of the episode, Lisa earns the respect of her peers and proves she can endure just as much as anyone else — leaving Springfield and its quirks behind for another season.
