S8E20: The Canine Mutiny

In "Simpsonlar - S8E20: The Canine Mutiny," things get predictably out of hand when Bart fraudulently gets a credit card and orders a new dog named Laddie, who turns out to be the perfect canine. Meanwhile, the real family dog, Santa’s Little Helper, is sidelined and eventually sent to the dog pound because Bart can't manage both dogs. Bart, feeling guilty, tries to retrieve Santa's Little Helper but discovers he’s been adopted by a blind man named Mr. Mitchell. The blind man refuses to give the dog back, and Bart is left in a moral pickle. In the end, when the blind man discovers that his new dog isn't as helpful as he thought—since Santa’s Little Helper isn’t trained like Laddie—Bart manages to reclaim him. Laddie stays with Mr. Mitchell, who seems happy with the switch. Bart returns home with Santa’s Little Helper, restoring the status quo in classic Simpsons fashion.
