S8E21: The Old Man and the Lisa

In "Simpsonlar - S8E21: Episode 21," titled "The Old Man and the Lisa," things take a turn for the entrepreneurial. Mr. Burns loses his fortune due to bad investments and ends up broke, so he turns to Lisa for help in getting back on his feet. Lisa, ever the environmentalist, reluctantly agrees to assist him in setting up a recycling business. Burns takes Lisa's guidance and transforms the operation into a massive success, but of course, this is Mr. Burns we're talking about, so he can't resist a little exploitation. He turns the recycling plant into an unethical fish slurry factory, horrifically churning up ocean life for profit. Lisa is appalled when she finds out, feeling used and betrayed by Burns' actions. Ultimately, Burns regains his wealth through this morally questionable venture, though Lisa is left with a bitter taste. She might have helped him get back on top, but she certainly didn't expect it to be over the backs of innocent sea creatures. The episode closes with Burns back in his mansion, wealthy once more, while Lisa remains disillusioned by the whole experience.
