Episode Ending
In "Simpsonlar - S9E1: Episode 1," also known as "The City of New York vs. Homer Simpson," Homer faces a dilemma when his car is parked illegally in New York City. After receiving numerous parking tickets and an immobilizing boot on the car, Homer is forced to travel to the city to sort things out. While the rest of the Simpson family enjoys the sights of New York, Homer's experience is less than pleasant. He waits for hours at the World Trade Center Plaza for a parking officer, only to endure a series of unfortunate events, including a bathroom crisis and missing his chance to remove the boot legally. Eventually, Homer grows impatient and decides to take matters into his own hands. Using a jackhammer he borrowed from a construction site, he removes the boot himself, but not without causing significant damage to the car. Finally liberated from New York but with a wrecked vehicle, Homer picks up his family and they drive back to Springfield, leaving behind the chaos of the city and a trail of debris in their wake.
