S9E10: Miracle on Evergreen Terrace

In "Simpsonlar - S9E10," also known as "Miracle on Evergreen Terrace," the episode wraps up in a predictably chaotic Springfield fashion. After Bart accidentally burns down the family Christmas tree and all the presents, he covers it up by saying a burglar did it. The town, feeling sorry for the Simpson family, donates money to help them out. Things take a turn when Bart's lie is exposed during a Krusty the Clown special. Naturally, the town turns on them, demanding their money back. The Simpsons are left to pay everyone back by auctioning off their belongings. The auction doesn't go quite as planned and doesn't cover the debt. In the end, the townspeople raid the Simpson house, taking everything down to the last crumb, even carting off Homer in a chair. Of course, it's Springfield, so by the end of it all, they're back to their usual antics and ready for another day of dysfunction.
