S12E9: HOMЯ
While working as a human guinea pig (to pay off the family's lost savings after making a bad investment), Homer discovers the root cause of his subnormal intelligence: a crayon that was lodged in his brain ever since he was a boy. He decides to have it removed to increase his IQ, but discovers that being smart does not necessarily equal being happy.
Episode Ending
In the episode "Simpsonlar - S12E9," the Simpsons find themselves in a bit of a jam when Homer becomes the new host of a popular morning radio show. Things take a turn when his antics get out of hand, eventually leading to his firing. Who could have seen that coming? Meanwhile, Bart and Lisa are busy with their own subplot, involving a science fair project gone awry. They end up creating a miniature civilization that hilariously self-destructs, which is about as well as you'd expect anything to go when Bart's involved. By the end of the episode, Homer returns to his usual job at the nuclear plant, much to everyone's relief. The family gathers together back at home, leaving their brief foray into radio stardom behind. All in all, it's just another day in Springfield, with everything resetting to its usual chaos.
