
S12E13: Day of the Jackanapes
Krusty announces his retirement due to interference from network executives and the growing popularity of the big-money game show "Me Wantee", but when Krusty reveals to Sideshow Bob that all of the episodes featuring him have been erased, Sideshow Bob uses Krusty's biggest fan (Bart) to murder him during Krusty's farewell show.
Episode Ending
In the "Simpsons" episode titled "S12E13: Episode 13," Homer becomes obsessed with finding a rare collectible toy for Lisa. Naturally, this quest spirals into chaos as Homer and Bart end up at a toy convention. They manage to find the toy but not without causing a scene, as Homer is wont to do. Meanwhile, Bart tries to capitalize on this collectible craze by buying and selling toys, but things don't go quite as planned. His entrepreneurial spirit leads him into trouble when he finds himself in debt to Comic Book Guy, who is not known for his forgiving nature. In the end, Homer and Bart's antics resolve with a bit of familial bonding. Homer manages to secure the toy for Lisa, and Bart narrowly escapes his financial woes. The episode wraps up with the Simpsons returning to their usual domestic chaos, having learned very little but enjoyed themselves nonetheless.
