Episode Ending
In "Simpsonlar - S12E16," things get a bit out of hand when Bart and Milhouse find a way to take over the local church's PA system, leading to chaos in the congregation. Reverend Lovejoy, frustrated with how things are spiraling, decides to take a break from his duties. Enter Marge, who steps up to fill his shoes and becomes a bit too enthusiastic about her new role. Marge's attempts to modernize the church do not sit well with the traditionalists, and soon enough, her changes cause a rift in the community. Meanwhile, Homer manages to accidentally lock himself in a coffin during a demonstration of Marge's new sermon ideas. Classic Homer. As Marge struggles to maintain order, Reverend Lovejoy returns just in time to restore peace and order. He reassures everyone that the church will remain as it was, much to the relief of the congregation. In the end, Marge realizes that perhaps her enthusiasm was a bit much, and everything goes back to Springfield's version of normal.
