Episode Ending

In "Simpsonlar - S12E21: Simpsons Tall Tales," the episode wraps up with the family on a train, listening to the hobo's tall tales. After Homer, Bart, and Lisa have each had their turn hearing a story, it's Marge's tale that brings things to a close. She becomes Paul Bunyan's wife in the story, trying to domesticate him and bring some order to his giant lifestyle. Eventually, the train arrives at its destination, and the hobo is left behind as the family departs. The episode concludes with the Simpsons walking off into the sunset, leaving the hobo to continue his storytelling to whatever audience he can find next. It's a classic case of "happily ever after," or at least as close as Springfield gets.
