S13E8: Sweets and Sour Marge

In "Simpsonlar - S13E8," also known as "Sweets and Sour Marge," things kick off with Springfield attempting to break a world record for the largest human pyramid, which predictably collapses. As a result, the town ends up in the Guinness Book of World Records for being the world's fattest town. Marge, ever the crusader, is appalled by this and takes it upon herself to rid Springfield of sugar. She successfully sues the sugar industry with the help of lawyer Lionel Hutz — yes, that Lionel Hutz — leading to a court ruling that bans all sugar products in Springfield. Homer, of course, is not thrilled about this turn of events. Homer teams up with Apu to smuggle sugar back into town from offshore, because what’s Springfield without a little bit of illicit trade? Their plan involves a seafaring adventure and culminates in them sneaking barrels of sugar onto the shore. However, when Marge discovers this operation, she confronts Homer and convinces him to abandon his sugary schemes. In the end, Homer's stash is destroyed in a fiery explosion caused by Moe's attempt to light a cigar with a sugar-soaked matchstick. The episode wraps with Springfield returning to its sugary ways after the ban is lifted, and Marge’s efforts are essentially nullified — but at least she tried. As always, things go back to their usual chaotic normalcy in Springfield.
