Season 18 of "The Simpsons" wraps up with the episode titled "You Kent Always Say What You Want." It kicks off with Kent Brockman, the local news anchor, getting into hot water after a slip of the tongue on live TV. In a classic Homer move, he spills coffee all over Brockman's lap while he's on air, causing the anchor to curse and get fired as a result. Brockman finds himself out of a job and teams up with Lisa to uncover some dirt on the network that fired him. Together, they expose a conspiracy involving corporate greed and media manipulation — because who better to tackle corruption than an eight-year-old girl and a disgraced newsman? Meanwhile, Homer is up to his usual shenanigans, enjoying his newfound fame after inadvertently becoming part of the scandal. However, things quickly spiral out of control as he becomes the face of the controversy. By the end of the episode, everything settles back into its usual Springfield chaos, with Brockman reinstated and Homer returning to his usual antics, blissfully ignorant of any lasting consequences from his actions.
