Season Ending

In the season finale of "The Simpsons" Season 19, titled "All About Lisa," we get a classic tale of ambition and rivalry. Lisa becomes Krusty the Clown's new assistant and quickly rises to fame, eventually overshadowing Krusty himself. As you might expect, this leads to a bit of friction, as Krusty isn't thrilled about being upstaged by an eight-year-old. Meanwhile, in a subplot that only the Simpsons could pull off, Homer and Bart embark on a bizarre quest to collect coins. Homer becomes obsessed with the idea of collecting state quarters, leading to some predictably ridiculous antics. The father-son duo's adventure is a nice palate cleanser from Lisa's more serious storyline. Back in the main plot, Lisa's fame reaches its peak when she wins the Entertainer of the Year Award. However, it's not all glitz and glamour as she realizes that the spotlight isn't everything it's cracked up to be. In true Simpsons fashion, everything comes full circle when Lisa decides to return to her normal life with her family. As the credits roll, Krusty reclaims his throne as Springfield's favorite clown, and all is right in the Simpsons' world once again—at least until next season.
