
S20E6: Homer and Lisa Exchange Cross Words
Lisa learns she is good at crossword puzzles and enters a city-wide contest. Homer discovers he has a flair for letting loved ones down so he opens Sweet Conclusions Break-Up Service, but lands himself in trouble with his daughter when he places a bet against her in the competition.
Episode Ending
In "The Simpsons" Season 20, Episode 6, titled "Homer and Lisa Exchange Cross Words," things wrap up in a typically chaotic Simpson fashion. Lisa discovers her knack for creating crossword puzzles and enters a tournament. Meanwhile, Homer, ever the opportunist, starts betting on the outcomes of these crossword contests. As Lisa excels in the competition, Homer places a bet against her in the final round, believing she'll lose. When Lisa finds out about this betrayal, she's understandably upset with Homer for betting against her. However, true to Simpson's form, Homer tries to make amends by creating a personalized crossword puzzle as an apology to Lisa. The episode ends with Lisa forgiving Homer after reading his heartfelt puzzle. All is forgiven in the world of Springfield, at least until the next episode rolls around with another wild misadventure.
