Episode Ending
In "The Simpsons" Season 20, Episode 16, titled "Eeny Teeny Maya Moe," Moe Szyslak finds himself smitten with a woman named Maya whom he met online. Things take an interesting turn when they meet in person, and Moe discovers that Maya is actually a little person. Despite his initial surprise, Moe genuinely cares for her and they start dating. Moe is smitten and even considers proposing to Maya. However, his insecurities about their relationship surface, and he makes a poorly thought-out joke about her height. This understandably upsets Maya, leading to a heartfelt conversation about how she wants to be loved for who she is, not despite her size. In the end, Moe tries to make amends by undergoing a procedure to become shorter himself, thinking it will prove his love. Maya is touched but ultimately decides that the relationship isn't right for her if Moe can't accept himself as he is.
