Season Ending

In the season finale of "The Simpsons" Season 21, titled "Judge Me Tender," Moe Szyslak gets a surprising moment in the spotlight. He discovers a hidden talent for judging contests after guest judge Simon Cowell visits Springfield. Moe impresses Cowell with his brutally honest critiques and is whisked away to Hollywood to join the panel of "American Idol." Meanwhile, back in Springfield, Homer is thrilled about Moe's new gig because it means he can spend more time at home with Marge. However, as you might expect from Homer, this new arrangement doesn't exactly go smoothly. He quickly becomes an annoyance to Marge, proving once again that too much of a good thing can drive a person up the wall. As Moe settles into his new role, he realizes that the glitzy life of Hollywood isn't all it's cracked up to be. Despite the glamour and the chance to insult people on a national stage, Moe starts missing his old life at the bar. Eventually, he decides to return to Springfield, preferring his role as a local curmudgeon over being a celebrity judge. The episode wraps up with Moe back at his tavern, happily pouring drinks for the usual crowd and giving up his short-lived celebrity status.
