The fourth grade students of Springfield Elementary School decide to spike Ms. Krabappel's coffee in order to teach her a lesson after she takes away their cell phones. She is fired by Principal Skinner, who hires a new teacher named Zachary Vaughn. Although Vaughn is a hip young teacher who impresses the students, Bart is plagued by guilt and tries to get Ms. Krabappel hired back.

Episode Ending

In "Simpsonlar - S21E2: Episode 2," titled "Bart Gets a Z," things kick off with Mrs. Krabappel confiscating cell phones in class, which is basically the last straw for Bart and his classmates. They hatch a plan to get her drunk during school hours, and it works a little too well; she ends up losing her job. With Mrs. Krabappel out of the picture, a new teacher, Zachary Vaughn, steps in, bringing a modern tech-savvy approach to teaching that wins over the students, including Bart. Meanwhile, Mrs. Krabappel hits rock bottom but eventually decides to start her own muffin business. Bart starts feeling guilty about his role in Mrs. Krabappel's downfall and confesses to Principal Skinner. Ultimately, Bart helps Krabappel get her job back by orchestrating a scheme that exposes Vaughn's incompetence. Vaughn is ousted, Mrs. Krabappel returns to her rightful place in front of the chalkboard, and Springfield Elementary returns to its usual chaos.
