Season Ending

In the season finale of "The Simpsons" Season 28, titled "Dogtown," Springfield passes a new law that gives dogs more rights than people after a series of incidents involving aggressive dogs. Naturally, this goes about as well as you’d expect. The town quickly descends into chaos as dogs start taking over, and people are forced to adjust their lives around their four-legged overlords. Homer, ever the opportunist, decides to make the best of the situation by using Santa's Little Helper to gain special privileges. Meanwhile, the rest of the town struggles with the new order, leading to some hilarious scenarios where humans are doing the dogs' bidding. Of course, chaos reigns until Marge manages to rally the townspeople to restore some sense of normalcy. Eventually, Springfield decides that perhaps it's not such a great idea to let dogs have the run of the place. The law is repealed, and life in Springfield returns to its usual level of absurdity. As usual, everything wraps up with the status quo more or less intact, leaving the Simpson family ready for their next misadventure.
