Season 29

In the season finale of "The Simpsons" Season 29, the episode titled "Flanders' Ladder," Bart finds himself in a coma after being struck by lightning. While unconscious, he experiences a series of ghostly encounters with deceased Springfield residents, including Maude Flanders and Frank Grimes. Bart, being Bart, manages to annoy them even in the afterlife. Meanwhile, Lisa takes advantage of Bart's condition to get back at him for all his pranks over the years. She reads to him from a diary she claims is full of secrets, which is really just a tool for her to mess with him while he's out cold. It's classic sibling rivalry, just with a comatose twist. As Bart navigates his ghostly journey, Homer and Marge worry about their son waking up. Eventually, Bart emerges from his coma with a new perspective — well, as new as it gets for Bart — and Lisa reveals her diary was fake. They share a moment of sibling bonding, which will probably last until the next time Bart sees an opportunity for mischief. Ah, family.
