Our investigators follow in the footsteps of Paul Gauguin, whose time in Martinique resurfaces in the wake of a crime—the murder of a painter who had come to immerse himself in the work of his master. Meanwhile, Mélissa rediscovers a thrill she thought she had lost, taking part in Laurent’s clandestine poker games. Alerted by Phil, Gaëlle and Aurélien sense that Mélissa is hiding something from them and decide to tail her before it is too late.
