Luis Emilio's lawyer ( Alejandro Trejo ) was sure he had bribed the judges who would rule that same afternoon on the businessman's innocence or guilt. With extensive press coverage and Walker's main victims in the audience, the prosecution and defense clashed in their closing arguments. In this context, Nicolás Santibáñez ( Claudio Ravanal ) called on the judges to set a precedent: not to allow a powerful man to go unpunished, because justice must be equal for all.
