S0E8: Vought News Network: Seven on 7 with Cameron Coleman (August 2021)

In the season finale of "The Boys," things get predictably messy. Homelander confronts Starlight and Queen Maeve at Vought Tower, but Maeve isn't here for his nonsense. She sacrifices herself by tackling Soldier Boy out of the window, where they explode mid-air, neutralizing Soldier Boy's threat for now. Meanwhile, Butcher and Hughie are trying to stop Soldier Boy with a little help from Annie. Hughie decides not to use Temp V, and instead, he boosts Starlight's powers with the studio lights, allowing her to temporarily take on Soldier Boy. Butcher eventually knocks Soldier Boy out with a gas, putting him into a cryogenic sleep as a precaution. The episode wraps up with some political maneuvering. Victoria Neuman is promoted to Vice President after a little help from Homelander, who's back to being his charming self in public. The Boys regroup and ponder their next steps, but not before Homelander introduces his son Ryan to the crowd as his own, signaling a new and potentially more terrifying chapter ahead.
