Episode Ending
In "The Boys" Season 1, Episode 2, things really start to heat up. Hughie is still reeling from Robin's death but decides to work with Billy Butcher to take down the Supes. They plant a bug at Vought's headquarters, but not without some trouble, as Hughie has to shake hands with A-Train, the Supe who killed Robin, to pull it off. Meanwhile, Annie January, aka Starlight, is dealing with her own issues. After her confrontation with The Deep in the last episode, she's struggling with whether she should remain a hero. She ends up saving a woman from being assaulted, which reignites her sense of justice and determination to fight for what's right. Back with the boys, they manage to lure Translucent into a trap. After capturing him, they face the challenge of what to do next since Translucent's skin is impenetrable. The episode ends on a tense note as they realize they're in way over their heads with these Supes, but they're committed to seeing it through.
