Episode Ending
So, in "The Boys" Season 1, Episode 4, things get messy as you'd expect. The episode wraps up with Butcher and the gang trying to dig deeper into the mysteries surrounding Compound V. They're on a mission to find out what this stuff is really about, and they're not exactly being subtle about it. Meanwhile, Hughie finds himself getting closer to Annie, a.k.a. Starlight. They have this sweet little moment at a bowling alley, which is a nice break from the chaos. But of course, nothing stays peaceful for long when you're dealing with superheroes and conspiracies. On the other side, Homelander and Queen Maeve head off to deal with a hijacked plane. Things don't go as planned (surprise), leading to some pretty dark decisions by Homelander. Let's just say it doesn't end well for the passengers. It's another notch on the belt of how ruthless Homelander can be when things don't go his way. The episode closes with more tension among The Seven and some serious questions hanging over everyone's heads about what comes next. With Butcher's crew getting closer to the truth and tensions rising within Vought, it's clear that things are only going to get more explosive from here.
