S1E5: Good for the Soul

Meanwhile, A-Train is dealing with his own problems as he tries to cover up his girlfriend Popclaw's overdose, which was not exactly the romantic ending she hoped for. The episode wraps up with Homelander and Maeve working on their public image after a plane rescue goes disastrously wrong — because who needs survivors when you've got good PR? Butcher and the boys are still plotting their next move against Vought and The Seven, with tensions rising and alliances fraying. It’s safe to say everyone’s in deeper than they planned, and it doesn’t look like anyone’s getting out clean.
